Beads radiate from the center as the yarn’s color shine on this half-circle shawl. Want the pattern to be more of a statement? Try using beads in a different color. Of course, using so many beads means a heavier shawl, but I love how substantial it feels. Take your time, and be sure to buy more beads than you need—inevitably, some beads won’t fit easily on the crochet hook.
Also, don’t let the quantity of beads required scare you away. I didn’t count them until after the pattern was completed, and it surprised me how many I used.
