As the California Angel Ambassador for Halos of Hope; a nonprofit that works to deliver handknit and handcrocheted hats to cancer centers all over the United States. The reason for my email is simple: I am looking for shops willing to help the cause by being a donation center for these hats. This way your customers can drop off hats at your shop (increasing the chance that they might come by to purchase as well) and it saves on shipping.
When there are a number of hats collected, you'll send me an email or give me a call. I'll come pick them up and then work to distribute them throughout Northern California. Drop off locations are named on my website. I sort and box the hats according to the needs of the various oncology centers and then ship them throughout Northern California where they provide comfort.
