Early spring brings clear night skies and the welcome thought of outdoor adventures with family and friends. While the sun sets after a gorgeous day, we pull the covers off the patio furniture and fire up the grill, anticipating a test run of eating outside. As the meal finishes cooking, we concede that perhaps it’s a few weeks from outdoor weather, so we transfer the food to a tray, close the lid to the grill, and head inside to eat.
