Arches Scarf
Interweave | Urban Knit Collection: 18 City-inspired Knitting Patterns for the Modern Wardrobe, 2016

The stacked, pierced arches of a stone grill seen in the auditorium of an old theater sparked inspiration for this scarf full of undulating cables. The repeating pattern is mirrored and dances down the length of this wonderfully wide scarf, high enough to protect the back of your neck on the walk home after a night on the town.

Knitting Knowledge | The body of this project is worked flat, and requires:
• Knitting with circular and double-pointed needles
• Casting on and binding off
• Reading charts
• Knitting and purling
• Working cable crosses
