Althea Blanket
Willow Yarns | 2016

Bearing an ancient Greek name meaning “healer”, this striking blanket features three rotating gradient colors in branched geometric spirals. Using the technique of locking floats behind every other stitch, the wrong side of the work almost appears woven. The two-color striped border uses the darkest gradient to frame the piece.

This pattern is worked flat and requires knitting knowledge including: knit/purl, lock floats, reading charts, and finishing.
